STATEMENT OF FAITH

  1. We believe the Bible to be the inspired Word of God, the only infallible and final authority in all matters of faith and practice (II Timothy 3:15-17. II Peter 1:20-21).
  2. We believe that there is one true and living God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19; Ephesians 4:4-6).
  3. We believe that in the Love of God, the Father sent His eternal Son, the LORD Jesus Christ, born of a virgin, He being fully God, one with the Father, and fully man, one with mankind, at the same time. We believe in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, where he ever lives to make intercessions for his people and in His personal return in power and glory (John 1:1-4, 14 10:30; Matthew 1:23; Philippians 2:5-11; Hebrews 1:1-4, 7:25 & 4:15; Acts 1:11 & 2:22-24; I Corinthians 15:3-4).
  4. We believe that God the Father sovereignly directs all things in accordance with His own perfect will and plan and to bring Him glory, he concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of people and for the salvation of lost and sinful man. He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit. Salvation is made possible only by God’s grace and solely by faith through our Lord Jesus Christ’s death on the cross and we believe that Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation (Titus 3:4-7; Luke 24:46-47; Ephesians 2:8-9; John 14:6; Acts 4:12).
  5. We believe that the Holy Spirit was sent by the Father as promised by Christ, to oversee the Church. The Holy Spirit is the supernatural agent of regeneration and baptizes all who receive Christ into the “body of Christ”. He indwells, teaches, seals and transforms every believer into the likeness of Christ and gives gifts to each one; enabling and empowering them for worship and service unto God. He convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 14:16-17, 26; 16:7-14; Galatians 5:16-18, 22-23; Romans 8:9).
  6. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ and that all true believers, who are baptized following faith, are members of His body, the Church (Ephesians 1:22-23; I Corinthians 12:12, 27).
  7. We believe in a personal imminent return of Christ; in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the saved unto the resurrection of eternal life living in the presence of the Lord, sharing forever His glory and righteousness and the lost unto the resurrection of damnation and eternal punishment (Dan 7:17-27; John 17:3 Revelation 20:1-15; I Corinthians 15:22-24, 51-57).
  8. We believe that the ministry of evangelism and discipleship is a responsibility of both the Church and each Christian in the power of the Holy Spirit (Romans 10:9-15; Acts 1:8; Matthew 28:18-20; I Peter 3:15).
  9. We believe that God ordained work, and service and every person is supposed to work and to serve others to the glory of GOD (Genesis 2:3,15 Colossians 3:17, 23-24, Psalm 90:17, Proverbs 6:10-12, 10:4-5, 12:11,24, 13:4, 14:23, 16:3, Ephesians 2:10, Philippians 4:13, Colossians 3:24, Luke 1:37, 1 Timothy 5:8, Jeremiah 29:11, 2 Timothy 2:6, Titus 2:7-8, Romans 12:11-12, 2 Corinthians 9:8).
